About the Role

FCSSC is looking for energetic, engaging, and fun people to join our Game Host (aka Great Humans) team! Hosts represent FCSSC and it's For Fun First philosophy at our gyms, fields and diamonds. Hosts make sure games are fun, safe and welcoming to all. 

We are currently hiring for London & St Thomas game play locations.

What Game Hosts Do:

• Create and maintain an environment where members are sure to have fun, be active and connect with new people
• Ensure play spaces are safe and ready for play, including equipment setup and take down
• Ensure FCSSC’s rules, safety protocols and conduct policies are enforced and put player safety first
• Prevent and resolve any conflicts that may arise between players
• Answer any questions members might have
• Promote FCSSC's offers and activities, including partner deals and club events
• Do what it takes to ensure a fantastic member experience

Who Game Hosts Are:

• Fantastic connectors, able to create a sense of belonging and connection among members
• Confident and fun individuals, with presence and positive energy
• Experienced member/customer service providers
• Loyal, reliable team players
• Experience as sport players, coaches or officials as well as camp counsellors, restaurant staff and other people and conversation powered jobs all considered an asset

Game Hosts must commit for an entire season of play (roughly four months each). Available shifts are Sunday to Friday. Weekly shifts can vary between two and four hours in length. FCSSC plays on weeknights between 6:00 and 10:00pm (mostly 6:00-8:00) and Sundays usually between 2:00 and 6:00pm. Availability and preferences will be taken into account.

GHs must have their own transportation to and from the league facilities. Members of FCSSC will be given preference for GH opportunities.

• This is a paid position
