FCSSC is happy to provide some more local backroads hiking adventure opportunities for the outdoor enthusiasts in our membership base! All levels of hikers/enthusiasts welcome in this series.
Caroline El-Khoury is our hike leader for this series. Caroline is an astronomer and digital influencer who moved to London mid-2021. She has game coordinated our Beach Volleyball, Dodgeball and Floor Hockey leagues in the Fall 2021, Winter 2022 and Spring 2022 seasons. Caroline has been actively exploring the SW Ontario region over the past year, often blogging and capturing it through her influential social media accounts.
In this series you will be exploring 5 great guided hike experiences that could include: The Pinery (w optional beach day), Warbler Woods, Longwood Conservation Area, Springwater Conservation, Komoka Provincial Park, Mystery Falls and or Fingal Management Area.
Hikes are intended to take place on Sunday mornings for 5 consecutive weeks at approximately 9:00am and hikers must have their own means of transportation to reach the trail heads (could take up to 45 min to reach).
This hike series is priced for the guided experience only understanding all other hike costs (travel, park fees, parking) are acknowledged as additional on the hiker. Specific hike details including trail head meeting coordinates, times, and what to expect will be sent out in the week prior to the first hike!

FCSSC reserves the right to change a location within 48 hours of the hike or to cancel and re-schedule a hike altogether due to unsafe conditions or thunder and lightning to a Sunday in July (ie. July 10th or 17th).
