Yoga Classes

Breathe deep with us this summer

Close your eyes, inhale deeply, and stretch it out…. It’s time for yoga.

 

Classes will explore postures that introduce you to the beauty of yoga, and allow you to work on your breathing techniques, plus build strength and flexibility. Classes are suitable for every body and every level of yoga practice. All summer yoga classes will be held in the heart of Wortley Village, on the grass in front of the YMCA building.

 

 

 

This summer we are offering three yoga classes:

Tuesday Yoga with Emily (May-August):  Emily’s classes aim to be accessible for all and bring an element of playfulness and fluidity. She desires to create an inclusive environment which respects the strong roots of the practice as well as to cultivate a welcoming space to connect and meet new people!

 

Thursday Yoga with Dan (May-July): Our empathetic, spiritual and experienced instructor, Dan Woodward, will ensure that participants learn, relax, are present in the moment and enjoy their practice. You are sure to feel better after a class with Dan!

 

Thursday Yoga with Joan (July-August): Sessions will be based on cross-disciplinary practices. Come out to practice breathe work, and move into some strength, balance, and stretching before concluding with meditation.
